Will Anderson registers first career blocked FG to keep Jaguars off the scoreboard
? Bob Self/Florida Times-Union / USA TODAY NETWORK

The Houston Texans used the third overall pick on Alabama edge rusher Will Anderson. Early in the team’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, he made his presence felt.

As the Jaguars lined up for a second quarter field goal attempt, Anderson was on the field to rush the kicker. He got home in a big way, blocking the kick and setting up the Houston Texans in good field position.

You can watch the blocked kick, here:

Houston used the good field position to march down the field and score. That made the blocked kick a potential 10-point swing against a division rival.
