Texas Tech G De'Vion Harmon enters NBA draft

Texas Tech guard De'Vion Harmon announced Friday that he is declaring for the NBA draft.

Harmon will not retain his college eligibility after playing for three schools in four seasons. He began his career with two seasons at Oklahoma and played one at Oregon before transferring to play one campaign for the Red Raiders.

"To the best fans, thank you for embracing me the way that you did," Harmon said. "Thank you for all the love and loyalty you've shown to my teammates and I. ...

"I'm declaring for the 2023 NBA Draft and immersing myself in the pursuit of a pro basketball career."

The 6-foot-2 Harmon posted career-best averages of 13.6 points and 3.6 assists in his one season with Texas Tech. He also had a career-high 51 steals.

Overall, Harmon averaged 11.1 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 123 games (111 starts). He made a career-best 51 3-pointers for Oregon in 2021-22 and had 141 in his career.
